Emilee is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) serving individuals, families, and groups in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Aris Clinic while also accepting outpatient clients. Emilee utilizes a multi-theoretical approach to therapy designed to meet the unique needs of each patient. Emilee also practices through the strengths-based, biopsychosocial-spiritual, and trauma-informed approaches, integrating mindfulness and coping strategies into every session to build resilience and mind-body integration. Emilee recognizes individuals as the experts of their lives and views it an honor to walk alongside clients in their wellness journeys.
Approaches and theories that Emilee frequently draws from include Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Emilee’s clinical interests include infant and early childhood mental health, anxiety, anger, grief, chronic illness and mental health, and trauma and resilience.
Emilee holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas – St. Paul and a Master of Social Work from Barry University – Miami. During her BSW and MSW programs, Emilee completed internships in a family supervised visitation program, long-term care facility, preschool day treatment program, and family outpatient clinic before completion of her education and joining Aris Clinic in 2023.
In her free time, Emilee enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, watching sports, traveling, and exploring nature.
