Erik is a Nationally Certified Counselor and LPCC in Minnesota. Erik has a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BA in Intercultural Studies.
Erik has experience working with individuals of various ages and backgrounds. From practical skills work with adult individuals to psychotherapy and psychoeducation with children, adolescents, and adults, Erik is passionate about supporting actualized change in all people who seek it. Erik’s clinical approach is primarily built on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) modalities but is also informed by Adlerian psychological perspectives, existential humanist therapy, Contextual Behavioral Science, and experiential based models of growth and change.
Erik is passionate about prioritizing the human factors involved in pursuing wellness and life satisfaction. Understanding the innate internal and external struggles of life informs Erik’s approach to a empathetic, client-centered, and action-based therapeutic environment.
Outside of the therapy office Erik enjoys spending his time with his wife and child, running, writing, and creating artwork.
