Mikaela is currently completing her Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Clinical Counseling at Grand Canyon University. Mikaela has always been passionate about child mental health and behavior, gaining experience in the mental health field for the past eight years. She has spent these years working as a psychiatric technician, a day treatment practitioner, and, most recently, as a school-based mental health professional in two different elementary schools. Mikaela is incredibly excited to take the next step in this field through her internship at Aris Clinic.

When not working, Mikaela loves exploring new places, practicing yoga, hiking, writing music, painting, and spending time with her puppy.
