Kristin holds a Master of Social Work (MSW), a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education (K–12), and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (grades 1–6), all from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. Her unique combination of experience in both education and outpatient clinical social work allows her to effectively support adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Kristin’s therapeutic approach is grounded in helping clients explore their personal values as a pathway to meaningful growth. She integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. Her work emphasizes the connection between the nervous system and emotional well-being, incorporating a holistic perspective that includes movement, nutrition, and overall wellness.

Kristin views herself as a collaborative guide, supporting clients in understanding and working through emotions that may impact daily functioning and quality of life. She strives to create a space where clients feel empowered to build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

Outside of her professional work, Kristin enjoys staying active with her husband, whether at the gym or exploring Minnesota’s many outdoor recreation opportunities.
